Good hotel with great wi-fi, a relaxing outdoor swimming pool, and friendly staff. They even helped me exchange money on my first stay! Big shoutout to Colby and Esther for their excellent service. I'm coming back for a weekend!

everything was great, polite staff, incredible location very close to colombia, the roof top restaurant, and the boats to the rosario islands leave. the room was kept leaking on the bed below and available with sleeper sofa and shared bathroom, for instance. the service was excellent and the pool was amazing. we had painless check-in on arrival.

Accommodation was big and bright with nice staff at the reception desk. My double room was unique with aircon. The meals in the restaurant were reasonably priced.

Perfect location! Safe and only 3-4 minutes walk to the historical centre of Cartagena. The rooms are big and comfortable, but they only have windows to the inside of the atrium, which is what you would expect for a typical colonial building of the area. Lovely building however. Also, the hotel staff did not have any objection and were happy to let us keep the room until 3 in the afternoon at no extra charge!
None of the staff speak english at any level (as everywhere else in Colombia, let's be fair to them). Breakfast was poor (as everywhere else in Colombia, let's be fair to them). The swimming pool is just a hole with green water. The atrium acts as a loudspeaker and traffic noise from Calle Largo gets magnified by a factor of at least 2 in the rooms (keep in mind we stayed at the furthest room in the back). It did not bother us too much because we were so tired at the end of each day that even artillery fire could not disturb us...

Hotel Lee was in a fantastic location only a few minutes walk into the Old Town of Cartagena. Neighbourhood felt very safe to walk in, although it was on quite a busy road which did make it quite noisy from early in the morning until late in the evening. We had a ground floor apartment towards the back of the hotel and the noise did not really bother us. Rooms were very spacious, nicely air conditioned which gave great relief from the warm, humid temperature outside. The 2 -storey apartment was great with the kids and ours did not have kitchenette but they were available if required, we just had a mini fridge which was perfect. Highly recommend for economical place to stay in a great location to visit the fantastic Cartagena.
Breakfast could be varied a bit each day.

We greatly enjoyed its above average and good breakfasts!
clean, reasonable value hotel, the location was marvellous and lovely very close to another selina as well as getsemani, the best neigbourhood of cartagena. the restaurant had lots of reasonably priced meals for breakfast. the room itself was spacious for seven beds and had essentials we needed.

The location was spot on for exploring.
But seriously, they turned off the lights in my room. It was like living in a cave! I guess I should've packed a glow stick or two.

The setting of the building and it's location. The staff were also eager to please and make you feel comfortable.
The noise from the clubs was at times was overwhelming and I wore ear plugs to cut out the noise. In an ideal world the noise level from the clubs and the effect on the surrounding areas should be monitored/ regulated as it can go on until 6-8am in the morning! It's also situated on a noisy main road! We didn't have access to the safety deposit box because the keys were lost and not located during our stay. As a couple the price between a one bed apartment and a standard room makes it better value to always opt for the apartment! The breakfast was not American and not varied it consisted of eggs scrambled/fried / toast pineapple juice coffee or tea. An American breakfast is much more varied in it's choice. I don't believe the phone in our bedroom actually connected with the reception area.

The localization is great! It's close to the old town and doesn't have the noisy from there. People who work there are really nice and helpfull (beside the language issue).
The comunication was not that easy because they cannot speak other languages well, but it was not really a problem and it seems to be all over Cartagena.

The rooftop pool was very nice and rarely crowded! The view at sunset was something out of a dream, just amazing. I even got upgraded to a private room which was way better than I expected.
It wasn't exactly cheap but I guess you get what you pay for.
